VB25 - Turquoise Webbed Southwest Bowl
This gourd is very light-weight. The outside was first painted
with acrylic turquoise paint which was then followed with silver webbing paint. It is simply
adorned with fringe, silver braid and a silver button. The inside is painted with
acrylic turquoise paint.

VB27 - Red and Black Beaded
This small container was painted with dyes and acrylics. It was then laced in the front and embellished
with beads. It is approximately 6" in diameter and stands approximately 5" tall.

VB20 - Gold and Brass Bowl
This little bowl is adorned with brass tacks and a burnt orange paint as well as gold leaf. The inside is decoupaged in a burnt orange. It is approximately

VB41 - Tortilla Warmer
The lid of the tortilla warmer is embellished with a handmade clay red chili pepper. The
warmer was pyroengraved with chili peppers and the colored with inks. The body of the warmer was stained with wood stain
and then spackled using a heat tool. The inside of the warmer was finished with decoupage; it was made food safe for
tortillas. Included with the warmer is a terra cotta saucer which is to be heated in the oven and then wrapped with
a towel (instructions are enclosed). The tortillas are then stacked in the warmer and will keep warm. (This piece could
also be used to hold hot rolls and buns.) The measurements are approximately 12" in diameter x 10" tall.

VB43 - Tortilla/Bun Warmer
AWARD WINNER!
The chili pepper designs were pyroengraved (wood burned) into the gourd and colored with inks and acrylic
paint. The background was created using two shades of brown wood stain and sealer and then a heat tool was used to produce
the spackled effect. The chili pepper handle was created in clay. The inside of the tortilla/bun warmer was
finished with red paper in decoupage. Included with the warmer is a clay plate which when first soaked in
water and then heated in the oven at 275 degrees and wrapped with a lightweight towel sitting in the bottom is used to
keep the tortillas/buns warm. The approximate size 12" in diameter and 9" tall. Price...$75

VB1 - Big Surf
This gourd container was cut to resemble the ocean. There were multiple blue
dyes, inks, and acrylic paints used and then a pearl luster medium was added for the white caps. There are four sections
of inlaid tempered glass depicting the sun shimmering on the ocean. These sections were then coated with a
dimensional and highlighting medium. The inside is painted in blue as well. The approximate size of this container is
12" wide x 11" tall.

VB35 - Sunflower Dipper
This is a replica of an Indian dipper. It is not to be used for water; however, it could be used to
serve salad as it is food safe. Most people who have bought my dippers hang them on their wall. The background is a
natural color of oil paint. The designs are painted with acrylic paints. The inside of the dipper is finished in a decoupage.
It is approximately 16" in length and the bowl 5"-6" in diameter.

VB45 - Planter
The
primary focal point of this gourd container is a multi-colored design with the outlying designs in solid colores. The “plantert” was then colored with inks. It
measures 10” wide by 8” tall.

VB7 - Date Palm and Bead Container
This gourd container is lovely just as an accent piece or it could be spectacular with a tall
dried arrangement nesting inside The background of the gourd is dyed artprint brown. It is trimmed with fruited date palm, a seed pod, leather, and wooden beads. It is approximately 16" high and 8" in diameter.

VB23 - The Bear
This gourd was dyed with artprint brown ink. The opening is laced with fruited date palm and then embellished
with feathers, beads and an Indian Bear made from clay and then painted. The inside is finished with black acrylic paint.
This piece can hold a potted plant (place a saucer under the pot) or simply stand alone as a lovely accent piece.

This piece with it's Indian motif is simple but elegant. The opening is adorned with laced fruited date
palm and embellished on with a pod, feathers and beads.

The top is cut out to resemble flames. It
is colored red, orange, black with inks and dyes and finished with a sealer. It

VB39 - Teneriff Gourd
There are three focal points to this gourd vase: 1) my own freeform teneriff design, 2) the pyroengraved rock scene
which is finished with oils, inks, acrylic paints, and metallic leafing, and 3) the black inlaid sand arrows surrounding the
metallic leafing bear claw. The opening of the vase is embellished with tiny turquoise marbles. For the background
of the gourd, I used artprint brown ink. This vase is approximately 9" wide and 9" high.
