AP16 - Viking Helmet
Hello Minnesota fans--this is perfect for the football season! Use it as a centerpiece
for your football celebration parties or wear to the football game. The helmet was created from three separate gourds.
Brass tacks surround the helmet. The horns are painted metallic gold. The helmet itself is finished in what is
called Craftsman's Blend finish which was then heated to produce the effect that I wanted to create. The inside is finished
with a decoupage of handmade paper.

AP17 - Beauty in Motion
This sculpture is one
of my most favorite pieces thus far in my gourd art collection. Three snake gourds were used to create the sculpture
(it took me three years to find the three). The "snakes" were beautiful in shape and motion when I found them; therefore,
they needed no beautification other than coloring them with artprint brown ink and inlaying the black eyes to make them into
this piece of art. The base is a piece of 1" wood covered with desert sand and embellished with river and lava rocks.
The sculpture measures approximately 20" long, 24" tall, and 11" deep. Price: $250
AP19 Spirit Doll
This
little Spirit Doll stands 8 ½” tall. She was first woodburned and then
colored with inks. Her hair is made out of leather which was wetted and twisted.

AP21 - Abstract/Freeform Carmel Gourd Balls.
The balls are colored with chocolate and butterscotch inks and then
circles were carved into the gourd balls.

AP6 - The Three Snowmen
All three snowmen are trimmed with a carrot nose made out of clay,
a felt hat, a flannel scarf or a bandanna. Their eyes, mouth, and buttons are made of inlaid black clay. The natural gourd snowman is approximately 16" tall and 8" in diameter. Its price is $55. The smaller snowmen are approximately 7" and each is $35.

AP20 - Red Hat Society Lady
This lovely lady sits on her own stand. She is painted with acrylic paints. She wears a necklace of red and purple beads. She has curly
white hair topped with a cute red straw hat adorned with feathers. This lady
stands approximately 10" tall and 6" wide.

AP - 23 Gourd wIth Pine Needle Accent
This fre formed gourd was colored with artprint brown ink. It was then embellished with pine needle
weaving, feathers, and natural beads. It measures 8 inches tall and 8 inches wide.

AP15 - Madonna on Stand
The Madonna on a stand is made from an uncut gourd which was first pryoengraved (the Madonna)
then colored with inks. The background of the gourd is colored in hunter green ink. Framing surrounding the Madonna
is metallic leafing. It is embellished with feathers atop the gourd and a feather and a faux turquoise cabochon adorns the Madonna's
hair. The size of the gourd is approximately 12" x 6". A stand is included. Price...$125

AP19 - Still Waters
What a lovely Southwestern accent for your home. This piece of art includes a number
of techniques: carving (the feather), inlay of turquoise heishi (Native American) beads, stippling (the background
for the feather), and the lacing of the copper threads. The colors used are artprint brown ink, copper paint, turquoise
and brown and black inks. The cut out opening laced with copper threads reveals the river water and rocks. The
opening is guarded by the Indian maiden (made from kiln dried clay). This piece measures 6" x 8".
